Manya Ratna Award
Selection Criteria
The screening committee and Selection committee consisting of the following persons will make the final selection of the award:

In doing so, selecting criteria of the Manya Pragathi shall ensure that experts from the concerned fields are scrutinizing the applications and nominations received from indigenous people.
Conditions rendering nominations ineligible:
b) Nominations not received in prescribed Pro-forma/incomplete in any
respect and /or received after the last date will not be considered.
c) Nominations found to be suppressing information or giving false and
misleading information would be disqualified for the grant of an award.
5. The Manya Pragathi reserves the right not to grant an award for a year if suitable
nominations have not been received.
Pro-forma for nomination can be downloaded from the Manya Pragathi website www.manyapragathi.com.
Nominations in either soft copy can mail to manyapragathi@gmail.com or the hard copy can be sent by post, and the entries should be submitted in a packet/envelope super scribed with the words entries for the Manya Ratna Award. The nominations must be reached by the 30th of June 2024, to the President, Manya Pragathi, Seedhi Village, Samarelli post, Seethampeta Mandalam, Srikakulam Dt, Andhra Pradesh– 532 460.
4. Date and Venue of Awards:
The award will be announced every year on the date to be specified by the Manya Pragathi and will be given away in Seethampeta on eve of International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples on 9th August. The awardees shall be invited to come to receive the award and the traveling and other allowable costs incurred by him/her would be reimbursed.
5. General guidelines and conditions.
(a) Presentation of the award shall be made on International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples on 9th August and time to be announced by the Manya Pragathi each year.
(b) The awardees shall be invited to receive the award in person.
(c) The awardees would be given TA/DA by First Class/AC 2-tier rail and Bus fare and arrangements for their stay would be made by the Manya Pragathi. Lady and handicapped awardees are entitled to bring one escort. They will also be given TA/DA at par with the awardees.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the Manya Pragathi shall be final and binding on all concerned. No representation will be entertained. Normally the award will not be presented posthumously.
